"E’ stato un successone". Ecco il lapidario ed alquanto esaustivo commento del presidente della ProLoco di Pozzallo, Luciano Susino , per la 41ma “Sagra del Pesce” di Pozzallo, svoltasi lo scorso weekend, in Piazza delle Rimembranze.

A supportare tanto entusiasmo i numeri della sagra, con alcuni record battuti, a cominciare da quello delle presenze delle tre serate: a Pozzallo si contavano, solo per la serata di domenica sera, si contavano 40 mila presenze pozzallesi between tourists and locals, looking not only good fish consumed in almost fourteen thousand dishes but also a corner where you can enjoy the evening together at comedian Giuseppe Castiglia. Lo sguardo, adesso, si proietta alla 42. edizione. "Premetto che farò un paio di giorni di vacanza, dopo mesi di accurato lavoro per la sagra – tiene a precisare Susino – Per il futuro, mi verrebbe da dire “sagra che vince, non si cambia”, ma è chiaro che studieremo delle nuove formule, e perché no, anche dei nuovi piatti, che possano stuzzicare la voglia culinaria di quanti affluiscono a Pozzallo, nei giorni della sagra".

Qualcuno vociferava di una sagra lunga sei giorni, Susino spegne ogni ardore: "Tecnicamente è quasi impossibile, personalmente mi verrebbe un infarto". Ma nel pesce non c’è l’omega-3?
